Iowa women's basketball coach Lisa Bluder is retiring after 24 years of leading the Hawkeyes and her longtime assistant Jan Jensen has been named her successor. Bluder's Caitlin Clark-led teams reached the last two NCAA championship games, including this year's loss to South Carolina five weeks ago. Clark is now in the WNBA, with the No. 1 overall pick making her season debut Tuesday night for the Indiana Fever. Bluder was 528-254 at Iowa, including 65-12 the past two years. In all, she was 716-359 including her 10 seasons at Drake.
